Description
This course explores principles of guidance and the development of self-discipline in children with emphasis on social and interpersonal behavior. Positive means to support children's social and emotional develoment, as well as strategies to establish productive relationships with families will be emphasized. Cultural diversity, especially as it pertains to Mandan, Hidatsa and Arikara, and special needs will be addressed in the course content.
