This continuing education course series provides a comprehensive introduction to Equine Assisted Services (EAS) and its application within education, facilitation, coaching, mental health, therapeutic riding, and physical therapy settings. Participants explore the history, foundational theories, and interdisciplinary nature of the EAS field, with emphasis on safety, ethics, and evidence-informed practice.
The series introduces current research, professional organizations, standards of practice, and key issues impacting the field, while supporting the development of safe, effective, and ethical Equine Assisted Services professionals.
