Description
This course will examine how the local Tribal Court systems and the Trial Appeals Courts function. Other issues will be studied related to justice on the reservation such as civil procedure; local, federal, and state jurisdictions; judical appointments; Native American rights under the American Indian Civil Rights Act; and, BIA and Tribal law enforcement agencies in relation to the Tribal courts.
