Description

This introductory course covers the fundamental principles andpractices of cybersecurity, including various types of cyber threats, vulnerabilities, and attacks. Students will learn about cryptography, network security, risk management, ethicval hacking, and incident response through hands-on labs and real-world case studies. The course aims to equip students with practical skills to identifying and mitigating security risks. By the end of the course, students will have a foundational understanding of cybersecurity concepts, preparing them for further study or entry-level roles in the field. No prerequisites are required for the 3-credit course. (FALL)
